Meditation room. Please take your shoes off, and have a seat on one of the pillows. Thank you

Turn your monitor so that you will be facing eastward. Shut out all disturbances as much as possible. As an offering, light a stick of incense if available. Sit up straight, spine erect… and begin.

 

Release all tension built up around the eyes and neck. Let go of every nerve help captive by words displayed on a screen (objectively as well as in the mind). Loosen all muscles held in check by mouse and keyboard. Close the eyelids ever so slightly… and begin to slow down the breathing… In …and… Out… Gently, slowly …In …and …Out.. As you slow down the pace, loose the muscles in the shoulders and arms. Feel them just relax. Let this relaxation enter into every pore, pouring downward over the chest area … … …down the back … … …through the abdomen … … …this release pours over the thighs … … …Breathing gently, ever so peacefully – move this wave of calmness over the legs … … …slowly, slowly … … …draining serenely out of every toe … … …Feel it, embrace it, let it … … …

 

Now let your thoughts go, let them go where they will … … …let them go as they will … … …And don’t become involved in their circular movements, as they fly round and about like a swarm of hungry misquitoes …Just calmly go inside …And leave them all outside …Go inside and watch them pass across the screen of your mind …Yet be attentive not to open the door or screen window – lest a few come in and start buzzing around your ears …To do this, just calmly …go …inside …the breath …Watch the breath as you inhale …and exhale. The key to keep in mind is patience. Patiently return to watching the breath, again and again, as the door may somehow come ajar, again and again …Just go inside the breath …And in time as a thought arises …it will let go …Each breath clearing the the way …In …and …Out …Until like a breeze, the breath lifts you beyond your thoughts …In …and …Out …Soar on the wings of breath, beyond thoughts you enter into THOUGHT. In and Out. See it as a spaciousness, a delight, a rest area …but don’t allow your self to fall into sleep. Remain aware, be poised, and consider …WHO AM I … … …Focus your awareness on the point of inner perception, the point between the brow, the point of the 3rd eye and ask yourself the question …WHO AM I … … … I am not the body …I am not the mind …I am not male …I am not female …I am not black …I am not white …I am not red … I am not yellow …I am not sex …I am not race …I am not nationality …I AM LIFE ETERNAL …I AM LIFE ETERNAL … I AM LIFE ETERNAL …I AM THAT, THAT I AM …Pause here for a moment, and when you are ready, close your eyes completely… … …

 

Slowly opening your eyes …calm and tranquill …Slowly return through the levels of THOUGHT …Enter into the spaciousness …Feel the rejuvenation as you fill this space with your Being … … …When you are ready open your eyes completely, refreshed …and stretch.

With practice, this mediatation deepens one’s perception of Self in subtle and not so subtle ways. We begin to look at life with a new eye. Understanding increases. Our thought deepen as our consciousness ever expands. So come again and again to this meditation…

When you are ready to continue, you may return thru the purple veil with renewed vitality – tranquil, centered, more in love… in Truth, in Light, in Love – Peace Be With You…
